I was born Kimberley Jane Dempster to father William and Mother Mary in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My older sister Debra and I grew up in the sleeper city of Barrie, Ontario which is where I currently reside. A quiet and creative child I spent much of my time drawing or dabbling in the dark mystical arts which my parents made me put a hold on when I accidentally conjured up Satan when I was ten. He lived in my play house and refused to pay my parents rent.

Shortly after that I started writing because I thought it would be a more constructive use of my abilities to conjure evil (also because Satan and I weren't on speaking terms after the whole inflatable bath pillow incident). Through my teens I worked on various different but separate art and writing projects never truly satisfied with whether I was fully expressing the stories I was trying to tell. At one point I thought about doing a novel and including some mesmerizing illustrations like I had seen in J.R.R Tolkiens "The Lord of The Rings' but I wanted my illustrations to say more than I could convey only adding them every couple of chapters or so. I also tried my hand at creating a comic strip with the intent of going into syndication but found the art form a little to confining for my outlandish and less then family friendly ideas.

When I was about twenty I was introduced to an entirely different type of comic book, something raw and unconventional; far from the super hero stories and comic books about naughty elves that I had grown up with. Autobiographical stories like Julie Doucettes "Dirty Plot"; dark humour stories like Johnen Vasquez's "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac"; and Twisted reality animation like Sam Keith's "The Maxx". It definitely showed there was a place for my style of creatively. Not long after that The Kimeleon was born and I've never looked back!

Food. I would be a Mallowmar. Smooth on the outside, squishy on the inside and if you pound on me red stuff comes out.
